If you’d like to join the team as a competitor, training starts now! Work on the Wudang 9, Yin Water Form and Fu Chen Feng. We’ll have training sessions together before we go. Individual entries are also welcome. There are no limits on the forms or style you perform but only two individual events per entrant.
If you’d prefer to join the team as a non-competitor, you are more than welcome! Join in the touring, watch the competition events (your cheers of “Jaiyou” will be appreciated!) and take your own time to explore the villages and local temples. It is an amazing place.
We’ll be living in rural China - not just passing through. You’ll experience life in the busy township with weapon shops, street vendors to state-run supermarkets, high-end and local. We’ll explore the Wudang mountains, visiting sacred sites and absorbing the energy of the ancient temples. We’ll retreat to train, rest and meditate at our Master Zhong Xuechao’s beautiful academy deep in the mountains. On our return journey, we’ll tour another of the sacred Daoist mountains, Qingcheng Shan, visiting my Daoist study group’s home temple and the Panda Reserve
