2009 ~ wudang training begins
On her return home, Su searched Australia-wide for a teacher to help her learn the style, the movements and to feel the energy that, up to this point, she had only had glimpses of in her own practice. Of the many styles of Tai Chi that Su had learnt and practiced since the 80’s, none had demonstrated, let alone infused, the internal aspect that Tai Chi is known for. The Wudang style embodies Daoist philosophy. It is a physical representation and has a deep connection to the heart of humanity and the soul of all living things.
It wasn’t until 2009 that Su found the only avenue open to her to begin learning the Wudang style - the videos produced by Master Zhong Xue Chao.
